The NZ Academy of Sport North Island Inc (NZASNI) seeks to appoint an Independent Board Member.

NZASNI works in partnership with national sport organisations and their targeted athletes and coaches in the North Island to prepare for international sporting success. NZASNI is contracted by SPARC to deliver a range of performance-focused services for carded athletes and coaches and is an integral part of the NZ Academy of Sport Network.

NZASNI has a Board of up to nine members comprising one person appointed by each of its four core members (AUT University, Wintec, the University of Auckland and the Millennium Institute of Sport & Health) and up to five independent members.

We seek to appoint a person to the Board who is passionate about New Zealand athletes achieving on the world stage and who has a mix of skills and experiences that
will add value to the governance of the organisation.
