Consortium Partners and Facilities

University of Auckland
The University of Auckland is New Zealand's largest research-led university with 26,000 students. The facilities provided by the University principally are based at the UniSports Centre for Sports Performance, which was established at the University in 1993. UniSports is part of the University's Department of Sport and Exercise Science and is based at Colin Maiden Park in Glen Innes. The Colin Maiden Park based complex is also the headquarters of the New Zealand Academy of Sport North.

The UniSports Training Centre is a facility of UniSports Centre for Sports Performance. It is a venue for testing and training athletes, and for teaching and research. It is also open for some student and public use. The Centre's facilities include fitness equipment, a main hall with sprung wooden floor and qualified staff who provide training advice and conduct fitness assessments. Membership is available on a yearly, six-monthly or three-monthly basis. Casual workouts are also available.
