Nutritionist appointed to National role

Daniel Healey has been appointed as the NZAS National Nutrition Lead. Daniel has been in this lead position with the North Island since early 2009, with it now extending nationally. Key components of Daniel's role will be to ensure consistency of Nutritional services provision across the network, create an Academy-based Central Repository of sports nutrition information, facilitate sharing nutrition information between the NZAS and New Zealand tertiary institutions and develop consistency in the provision and use of sports supplements, particularly given the recent partnership developed with Integria Healthcare Ltd as the official supplier of nutritional supplements to NZAS.
